1. Stream

A concept I was asked to come up with around SkyBet “streaming”.

The script asked users to:

1 a) Open prototype
1 b) Find the Bayern Munich V Frankfurt match free to watch (3 routes – Scroll down and select from the Featured list/ Football then scroll down and select from list/ Menu then Streaming then select from list
1 c) How would you watch this match live (Watch Now button)


2. InPlay

Three screensshots taken from interactive prototypes I built in Axure and presented to users who were then observed completing tasks from which the prototype was refined and retested. These concepts originated from the two day workshop we talked off during our telephone conversation. One version of the prototype can be interacted with at https://se2wez.axshare.com/#g=1&p=home&c=1 (this prototype isn’t the exact one featured in the image, or used with participants, but a version in development). The idea behind the prototype(s) was to encourage engagement from users with In Play events by presenting them with real time mulitple event information that was filterable, to users preferences, and with a variety of betting opportunities without needing to go to a dedicated event page – although dedicated event pages would still able to be accessed for events with all betting opportunities presented.

The script asked users to:

2 a) Open prototype
2 b) Navigate to Football In Play {3 routes – Menu then Football then In Play/ Football then In Play/ In Play )
2 c) Filter matches by Bets Under/Over 2.5 Goals
2 d) Find the Newcastle V Manchester match
2 e) Tell me what the current score is and how much time has been played
2 f) Where would you find out about what has so far taken place in the match (Timeline)
2 g) Where would you find statistical match information
2 h) What bets can be placed on this match
2 i) Place a bet on Over 2.5 goals
2 j) Where would you find all bets that can be placed on this match (123 markets)


3. InPlay 2

A later version of the In Play prototype that cuts out some of the earlier steps of navigating to the event (to save testing time) with a further developed interface looking at improved (and condensed) ways of presenting event information and to ask users what other information they’d like to see. Also exploring ways of favouriting events and listing up coming events so that they can be favourited, stored, and so encourage return visits and interaction(s).
